It has a retractable pen tip, twist to open and close. Writes well and comes with a replacement pen ink cartridge. It can be used in a self-defense situation to jab or stab. It’s a strong, sturdy pen that should come in helpful if I ever need it for self-defense or to break the glass in a vehicle to get out. The pen is also capable of producing high-quality writing. I go on a lot of dates (and everywhere else) and I don’t have a car right now, so it’s either a ride share service, public transportation, or getting into their car. Each of the three solutions has its own set of downsides. I prefer to be well-prepared. With the glass breaker tip, I feel more secure and Batman-like. This is a fantastic pen with some weight to it, which is ideal for a tactical pen. It writes well, and although I haven’t utilized the opposite, window-breaking end, it appears to be up to the task. The weight, length, and feel in the hand are all excellent, and it appears to be quite durable. I haven’t gotten a chance to put it through its paces yet because it only came yesterday. It writes incredibly effectively, and the weight isn’t a concern, as some reviewers have said. Some folks need to begin exercising. As far as the pen as a self-defense weapon goes, it has enough heft to it, and the glass breaker on the end is incredibly sharp; getting stabbed with this would hurt like hell. You will not be disappointed if you purchase this.

I’ll start with the price, which is incredibly reasonable. The structure appears to be of very high quality. It’s great that it comes with refills. For a firm grip, the knurling is excellent. The pocket clip is extremely robust and will securely clip in your pocket or on a belt. It’ll work well as a kubaton self-defense weapon. I would suggest it. It’s quite well-made, and you can’t go wrong with the price.
